Burger Planet Promotes Healthy Menu Choices

Gary, Indiana, January 31, 2009 – Burger Planet has hired Jayne Peterson, CEO of a multi-million dollar fitness and health enterprise, for their promoter of healthy eating. Burger Planet is including a new list of healthy choices to their traditional menu.

Peterson’s fitness fame became known after her success with Opal Whitcomb’s diet of moderation and smart eating. Women in their 30’s to 40’s are the most common customers at Burger Planet and are concerned about losing weight. In regards to their concern Peterson says, “Women can have a burger and fries now and then as long as they are active and also try some of Burger Planet's exciting new menu choices, such as the fruit packages."

Along with their original burger, fries and soda menu, some new healthy choices Burger Planet are offering includes five different choices of fruit, whereas no other Quick Servant Restaurant offers fruit, gourmet salads and white meat selections. James E. Muellenbach III, CEO of Burger Planet, says that for more seven decades Burger Planet has put customer service and satisfaction first. Now his customers want more of a selection of choices and that is what Burger Planet and Peterson are working together to accomplish because as Muellenbach says, “ Jayne Petersen and Burger Planet share a commitment toward health.”

Burger Planet was founded in 1934 and has been serving customers faithfully throughout the years. At last count they have served over 52 billion customers and have 8,921 franchises in every state and 17 countries. Burger Planet has had a lot of success serving their burger, fries and soda and will continue to offer their traditional menu, while at the same time promoting healthy eating by offering a list of healthy food choices.
